| WORK VISA |
Under current regulations, the local consular office has been authorized to process the Ordinary, Diplomatic and Work visas. The work visa must be initiated in the country of origin. The Consular Office must send the work visa request to the Foreign Migration Service (SME) in Angola for approval.
The processing time for a work visa takes at least 90 working days of its receipt. The work visa is valid for two years and multiple entries are permitted. The validity of the visa may not exceed the period of the contract. The additional requirements are listed below.
- Two photographs
- Medical statement of health including HIV test.
- Copy of contract addressed to the Consular services duly signed by the representative of the firm or institution employing, hiring or sponsoring the trip, with the specific reference to the job to be performed by the applicant, the duration of the engagement and assuming full financial responsibility for the applicant. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade must authenticate it.
- Statement agreeing to respect Angolan Laws, authenticated by a Public Notary.
