DIPLOMATIC, OFFICIAL AND COURTESY

The Diplomatic, Official and Courtesy visas are granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the diplomatic or consular missions authorized for the effect, to the holder of diplomatic, service, special or ordinary passport that goes to the Republic of Angola in a diplomatic, service or official character visit.
The visas referred on the number above must be used in the period of 60 days after the date of being granted, they allow a total stay in national territory up to 30 days and are valid for one or two entries.
In properly founded cases, the diplomatic, official and courtesy visa can be granted for multiple entries with a stay up to 90 days.

Requirements to obtain a Diplomatic, Official and Courtesy

  1. Hold a travel document with validity superior to at least six months;
  2. The travel document mentioned above must be the valid and recognized travel document for the Angolan territory;
  3. Color copy of the main pages of the travel document, as well as copies of the pages containing visas;
  4. Two  application forms properly filled and equal number of photos (photo size equal to the Canadian Passport);
  5. The holder of the passport must have fulfilled all the sanitary dispositions established by the Ministry of Health to enter the Angolan territory (hold a International Vaccination Certificate);
  6. Travel ticket to the destination country;
  7. For Canadian passports: Letter of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada, or another State Institution requesting the visa and identifying the reason of the trip;
  8. For passports of other countries: Letter of the Embassy of the native country of the passport, requesting the visa and identifying the reason of the trip.
